DAIRY PRODUCTS: FROM REVITAMINISATION TO MICRONUTRIENT FORTIFICATION
On many markets the demand for functional foods in the dairy product segment is on the rise. We develop value-added concepts for your products.
Functional dairy products that contain specific vitamins, minerals or prebiotics, help to restore the balance of microbiotics in the gut. Consequently, the growing interest of consumers in maintaining or improving their health makes the development of new functional dairy products particularly interesting.
In close cooperation with you, we develop customised solutions for your product. Some application examples are milk, yoghurt or milk mix beverages. We adapt the micronutrient premixes to the needs of specific target groups such as children or older people.
Specific vitamins are added to heat-treated dairy products which lose a certain percentage of vitamins during processing. We develop formulations that are tailored to your wishes. It doesn’t matter whether this involves revitaminisation or fortification in food.
LITTLE EXTRAS. BIG BENEFITS. WE GIVE DIARY PRODUCTS ADDED HEALTH VALUE.
Healthy bones and teeth from the very outset
For the normal development of bones and teeth, the body needs calcium and vitamin D. The almost forgotten vitamin K can, when combined with vitamin D and calcium, play an important role in preventing bone fractures particularly in post-menopausal women.
Development and growth
Iron is essential for the differentiation of specific brain cells and areas during children’s development. In addition, B vitamins assume major tasks in energy supply and stimulus transmission. A vitamin B deficiency can lead to poor concentration, weak memory capacity, fatigue and exhaustion. Vitamins B6, B12, pantothenic acid (B5) and folic acid are particularly important.
Boosting the immune system
Folic acid, vitamin B12 and zinc play a particularly important role in the growth of immune cells. Vitamins A, C and E act as antioxidants and protect against cell damage during immune defence processes.
